This Privacy Policy explains how Elevare processes and protects data when using the application.
This app ("Elevare") processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Elevare uses Firebase services provided by Google for anonymous authentication, subscription verification, and backend functionality.
When using the app, a unique anonymous user ID (UID) is generated and stored. The app does not require users to provide personal information such as their name or email address.
When connecting to Google Firebase services, technical information such as IP addresses, device information, and security-related log data may be processed by Google for service operation, fraud prevention, and security purposes.
Data is processed based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in providing and maintaining the app).

Most user data is stored locally on the user's device using a local database. This includes tasks, missions, milestones, task completion history, display name, reminder settings, theme preferences, app settings, and locally cached subscription status information.
Users may optionally export locally stored data as a backup file. Exported backup files are stored outside the app on the user's device or selected storage location and may contain user-created content such as tasks, missions, milestones, profile information, and app settings. Users are responsible for securely storing exported backup files.
Certain data required for subscription verification and premium entitlement management is stored in Firebase Firestore.

Firebase App Check and the Google Play Integrity API may process device and app integrity information in order to protect the app against abuse, unauthorized access, fraud, and automated misuse.
Google may process data on servers located outside the European Union, including in the United States. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and uses additional safeguards where required under applicable data protection law.

Data is stored only for as long as necessary to provide the app’s functionality. Locally stored data can be deleted at any time by using the in-app reset feature, clearing the app data via device settings, or uninstalling the app.
Cloud data associated with the current User ID can be deleted directly within the app through the Account page. Users should perform this action before uninstalling the app, as anonymous accounts may no longer be recoverable afterwards.
